Sunny Monday

Monday morning, lots of lovely sunshine, woke up to Kizzie barking, got up took her outside where she did a wee,Ahh! she then came in and poo'ed in the hall Urr,she is learning though ...I think !

Made a coffee and rang my sister Jean ,we nattered for a while ,she works at school as a dinner lady and teachers assistant ,and now they are on holiday for Easter, she had time for a nice long chat , We both said we were thinking of Jeannette, who was to go to the hospital  this morning ,to see which treatment would be suggested to treat her form of cancer ,we both agreed she had been in our thoughts alot this weekend,

I said I think Im going to wash my lounge curtains ,she said I sound like Mum ,err no ! Mum would clean for the sake of it ,she had a routine !!I have no routine and do things,on an as and when basis,I am now waiting for the second curtain to finish washing ,then I have to clean the big patio window inside and out ugh ,The curtains are washed ,the weather is good, I have told my sister ,so Im sort of committed ! Me and my big ideas !! but wont I be pleased when its done .......

I told you in my last entry I was going up to the town,,with my trolley ,I love that on a Saturday morning ,get the tele mag ,goodies from the homemade cake shop ,,and vegetables and farm eggs from the market ,browse the charity shop ,and yes Freda ,I took my camera ,and took the latest pictures of the shop 'Lavender Blue',to show you their Easter window ,it is lovely as usual ,though I always seem to get alot of reflections too .

Are you aware how far one sheet of kitchen roll will go when ,it is ripped to shreds by a puppy ,sitting quietly behind you as you type your journal entry ?.....Ah well better go and look for that blade thingy and go and get these windows washed ,

Have a lovely day everyone with love and

I love this shop window!  I miss how the stores don't do their windows up anymore like the once did.  I could window shop for a very long time.  It's the thing that dreams are made of!  Thanks for sharing.  Kizzie will get the idea soon, I'm sure.  The poo might have been an afterthought.  She might have thought she was done, and wasn't.  Bless.

Love,
Susie

Lovely photos of Lavender Blue Jan - well done!
Yes, it is sunny here, but a bit of a cold wind - I'm not tempted outside, but a good day for getting that 'heavy' washing done, I need to change my settee throws, they need a good old blow to get them dry.
I'm in the middle of updating my new blog - and that's my excuse for not doing the housework ;-)
Had to smile at Kizzie's little games - you'll find nothing is safe from her :-)

It's lovely and sunny here in the Lakes too Jan.  As for Kizzie's toilet roll escapade?  When my late old dog was a puppy he raided the cupboard under the sink and found my box of Brillow Pads...he stretched them all over the kitchen and upstairs too.  He then went on to sneeze off and on for hours...served him right!   Lol!
Lavender Blue never lets you down..does it?  The window is lovely. I've been thinking of Jeannette a lot too.   Jeanie

It's a lovely day here too and I'm pottering on my first day of the holiday, doing a bit of this and a bit of that.

Such good news about Jeanette, all our good wishes must have helped.

Ahh...we are enjoying a beautiful sunny day here today as well.  Lots of sunshine and warm temps to go around today it would seem, which is a very good thing!  I love hearing about little Kizzie.  We didn't get our Jess until she was about a year and some old so I missed all the puppy antics and joy.  :-(  I am now living those experiences, vicariously,  through your Kizzie.  Thanks!

I was hoping you'd be getting some pics of Lavender Blue's window. It's becoming tradition now!  LOL!  They sure do their window beautifully. I always enjoy a peek at what they've done.
I am glad you had a good shopping outing.  Had to laugh at the Kizzie stories.  She sounds like a dollbaby!  I know she's keeping you busy!
Hope you get all of your chores done.

Hi Jan, great that you had a good chat with your sister, it's nice that isn't it. My sisters phone me every day one at 8am, the other at 8.30am  sure they are making sure I am still alive !!!   What fun you are having with Kizzie.  I well remember the shredded paper. My wee dashound was left with my sister's dashound one day when we went for lunch when we came back they had attacked a box of tissues..it looked like a snowstorm had hit the sitting room !!  Much Love Sybil x

I enjoyed our chat on the phone .I was glad to see Jeannette had done an entry to say how she had got on .The Easter window at Lavendar Blue looks nice once again. So the kitchen roll is not safe from Kizzie ,she is trying to keep up with the Andrex puppy!! ....Love Jeanxx

Loved the pictures of Lavender Blue, it's a cute shop. I think I would go there if I lived nearby. Kizzy is being a cutey I see.....she will slowly learn, she's a wee thing yet. As for paper towels, napkins, tissues, they are a dog's first love for destruction. Pickles is well trained, but even she won't pass up the chance to destroy it if it presents itself to her. When she first came her, I had a tissue box on the floor next to the couch, I came into the living room to find her pulling the tissues out with a frenzy LOL! But we gotta love the pups huh?? Hello Jan,

I`ve got the perfect excuse not to wash the curtains this Spring. We`re decorating the living room and I`m buying new ones when it`s finished...lol!   Not for me a set housework routine...apart from ironing on Sunday of course. :o)

You little puppy will keep you busy I know.  I had 2 pups at one time and they kept me the neatest person in the world.  I learned really fast to pick things up or else they were shredded or eaten.  It was a glorious warm sunny day here and so hard to believe it'll get cold and snow by Thursday this week.  I have off work good Friday and may do a little Spring Cleaning then.  'On Ya' -ma

Sounds like a nice day, Jan, even if it's only housework things.

Your puppy sounds like Nikki's springer! Tess keeps going outside and then coming in to do a wee! She also chews everything in sight and the boys keep leaving shoes around! Her latest disaster was chewing thru' the phone leads and Rob had to buy new phones!LOL But they are cute aren't they? Love Conniex

Jan, thank you for sharing your lovely shop window again.  I love to see pictures of it.  It has been in the 70's and sunny for the past couple of days here but alas will be dropping and only a high of 40 for Easter.  LOL...Christmas day was 60 here..go figure.  I'm laughing at Kizzie and the kitchen roll...my daughter's cat does the same thing.  Have a good week...Love xx  Chris

That shop window is becoming a real feature Jan, maybe you should charge them for all the advertising.
At least Kizzie went for the kitchen roll after pooing on the floor. Now that's good training! B. x

I'm sure Kizzie will soon get the message! My mum used to have a routine, bedrooms cleaned and polished on Thursday, brass cleaned on Wednesday! Lol! I wish I could get some routine going but my mum didn't work until I was a teenager so she had more time, something I lack! The shop window always looks so pretty, they must spend a lot of time on it. I hope Jean enjoys her break from work and the weather stays good for her. Remember Katinka and her toilet paper tearing habit?! It makes a mess doesn't it?! I'm sure Kizzie will grow out of it, Katinka did!
