Lavender Blue

 Thankyou Donna

Yesterday, I set off for the shops, with my shopping trolley and camera,it struck me as odd ,there was nothing happening in the shop window Lavender Blue ,except some rather nice flower vases ,and other assorted goodies ,the man stood at the door way ,and was ,obviously aware of my puzzled look ,'Are you the lady who takes the pictures ?'Itold him yes ,he said 'dont take a picture of the window like that ,those are a few items we are selling off ,before I do the wedding window'....Oh ''THE WEDDING WINDOW ''I will most certainly be having a look at that and be sharing, meanwhile he kindly ,let me take some pictures inside ,what an Alladins cave ,everywhere you look there are such delightful displays ,I bought a couple of plants (Ifelt I should !)a forget- me-not,and an Aubrietia ( like yours Jean )When I got home I had great fun planting them when I started to dig,Kizzie so wanted to help dig the hole ! Maurice is at work today ,and I have some nice lamb to make for dinner tonight ,I see the mint I grew last year ,is doing realy well ,contained in its pot ,so I will make some mint sauce too.

I hope you all  have a blessed Sunday, with love and

Jan xx

Aww - well done Jan - lovely pics, so clear too.
Now if I had gone to the Saturday Market, as I usually do (and  a look around the Charity Shop) I may have found you sitting on that bench!
Looking forward to the Wedding display.

Jan, what a treasure chest in that shop!  I could spend hours in there.  In our town, we have a similar store that sells new things and the most gorgeous antiques for a good price.  I wish they would do their windows like your Lavender Blue.  I'm looking forward to the wedding window.  Have a lovely Sunday.  Love xx Chris

That stuff is so pretty. It would make you almost afraid to browse through, afraid you would knock something off and break it. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the new flowers. Helen

I would love the shop you go too.  It was always one of my dreams to own such a place and to do some crafting that I could sell too.  Just a dream.  Meanwhile I love to browse and oh and ah...when I get the chance.  It is beautiful and sunny here once more.  We have spear mint , peppermint and cat mint in the garden here.  I love the smells and when I need a lift I just pick and leaf and scrunch it in my hand...heavenly.  'On Ya' - ma

That is a lovely store!!  I'd spend WAY too much money in there I'm sure!  That owner is going to have to give you some money for advertising, because at this rate he is sure to get some overseas shipping business!  LOL!
Sounds like you had a lovely morning!  And I look forward to seeing the "Wedding Window."  I'm sure it's going to be breathtaking!

The shop looks very nice and I'm sure the wedding window will be worth waiting for.  Good thing you have a helper like Kizzie to assist with digging the holes for your plantings, LOL!  How nice it must have been to make mint sauce with mint leafs you grew in your own garden.  Great job with the picture3s!
