Look at my new Bike

I ordered this corset from Donna, last week,English size 12 ,Thankyou Donna perfect fit ....

On Saturday night after I did the entry about lefthanders ,I had put a picture on the entry, that I had tried to add but I was dissapointed it was very grainy ,Glen next door showed me how to use photobucket ,so I am sorry if you got some odd       alerts from me .....I was experimenting !

On Sunday afternoon my son Mark came over with his wife Chrissie and my daughter Kate came with them ,we sat on the patio enjoying the sunshine then Mark went out to his car and came back with this ...A bike for me ! I must have said in a conversation somewhere I would like a bike !!

Not sure about the pictures ,getting them to fit the page I used photobucket,I am still practising  the resize bit .I am pleased with my bike though ,all the family are telling me I should now get a helmet! They forget I had a baby seat on the back of my bike ,when they were babies and each in turn ,would ride on the back often falling asleep as I pedalled along the country roads to see my Mum and Dad ,We used to go miles like this ,because where we lived then ,there were no shops ,just a post office and a church .I suppose they are right though ,maybe I should get a cycle helmet .

Kizzie is still up to her mischief ,she has a passion for feet ,I have to keep my slippers on in doors I used to love to walk about with no shoes ,but she loves nibbling toes ,I am on the look out for some steel toe capped flip flops for the summer !

Well have a good evening everyone, and once again I am wondering if Donna has a crystal ball, any way I want to thank her for my siggy graphic today ....with love from

I hope you enjoy your bike,  it's been a loooong time since mine has been out of it's hanging place in the garage.  I'm wondering if tires don't rot after awhile.  They are flat for sure.  We finally have a beautiful sunny day here.  A little on the cool side, but much nicer than we've had in awhile.  'On Ya' - ma

Your bike looks just perfect and I like the basket you have on it too. I haven't ridden my bike for 2 years but if I lose enough weight I will be back on it again.... I hope. Have fun on yours.

Wow, a bicycle! I have never been able to ride a bike properly. I always ride backwards not forwards. We have had lovely weather over the last few weeks. Let's hope it continues. Have fun, pedalling!

Have a great week.

Good for you Jan, riding a bike. You`ll certainly stay fit that way. I wish I had the nerve to start riding one again myself but the roads around here can be a bit busy so I`ll pass for the time being. :o)

Very healthy pursuit, cycling, Jan. By the way, I do not resize pics in Photobucket, because they can get distorted. If they're too big, I fiddle a bit in the HTML (like "width=600" after the link-code or something).

Quite a smashing bike, Jan, and you do look very smashing on it.  Love the colors and the basket.  Your weather just looks so lovely for a ride on a bike.  LOL at the helmet.  I don't think I would want to wear one.  I've been using Photobucket for about a year and love it.  Once you get used to it, I think you will also.  Love xx Chris

Steel toe-capped flip flops. He-he.
The weather's just turning right for bike riding too, snd Kizzie will fit comfortably in the basket.
I really ought to check out photo bucket, it gets a bit boring having all the pics at the top of the page. B. x

Hi, first time I have visited a blog!  Came upon it by accident. I feel like I am the only person in the world awake!  I have been off work with a stomach bug and today slept the afternoon away so now my husband is snoring away upstairs and I am surfing and WIDE AWAKE!
Love your little dog. She is jsut too cute. I had a little angel too, her name was Polly and she was a cross between a Yorkshire terrier and a jack russell. Believe it or not, she was bought as a pedigree yorkie but clearly some randly little JR got to her and by the time we realised she was never going to grow hair long enough to be tied with a red bow (LOL) I loved her.  She became ill on Christmas day and died in my arms on new years eve after the vet did everything he could. She was 12 and the cutest little devil. I miss her so much.

I love your bike! You look great sat on it...very you! I have a bike which I mistakenly left at my old flat in Chorley in the downstairs cupboard! I must go back and get it for nikki. I am too afraid to ride it as I am scared of falling and doing damage to my already tender bones. It is really good exercise though which is why i got it! Happy cycling! Love Conniex

'Our little Kizzie' is going to enjoy being another Amy Johnson elevated up high in that bicycle basket Jan.   I can just see her little helmet flaps blowing in the wind...Lol!
Enjoy getting fit and riding the lanes together.
Hmmmm?   Steel toed flip flops?     Kizzie....come and live with your 'Auntie Jeanie'    lol!
(((snuggles for Kizzie)))

Hugs to you

Wow your bike looks great ~ I'm thinking about getting mine serviced coz the gears have stopped working :(  You should get a helmet.  I feel like I'm fairly confident out there but it's other people you have to be wary about so get one and feel safe :-)

Wow Jan, your bike is NICE!  It's a FINE piece of machinery.  And you look good on it as well.  I love to ride bikes.  Everyone around here wears helmets.  I think it's a law here now. I don't if I'm just riding near the neighborhood. But, any farther, and I would.  It's worth it, if something happens.
Congrats!  Now Kizzie can settle in the basket and join you for some adventures.
Hugs, Pam xoxoxox

Jan
What a nice gift Mark gave to you.  The bike looks fine and I know you will have a lot of fun riding it.  Your experiments with photobucket seem to have paid off.  The pictures came out great and not grainy at all.

I 'shrink' my photos by opening them with microsoft picture thingy, press edit & go to the bit that lets you reduce the size. Then I save it in that size and add it to my journal. Does that make any sense?? Nice bike, you must be safe & get a helmet.
