Warm ..Wednesday ..

Good evening folks ,late entry no excuse except that I've been in the garden enjoying the sunshine ,I bought some trailing geraniums plants  last Satuurday and thought they should be planted ,so into the hanging basket ,they went ...one in each so now I have to buy some more plants to join them,Maurice has just gone off to work ,he's getting through these nights ,just tonight then two more, and then off again .He was telling me about some mates who have started a motor bike repair business ,apparently they are in the dog house with their wives for working late each night,so he sat the other night and did this picture no prizes for guessing who sat for the picture !

I darent shrink it anymore ,he drew it slightly bigger than this ,but I so wanted to show you .....but then judging by my past track record be quick and look at it ,because in about two days time it will be a big white box with a little red cross in the left hand corner ,why is this ?can any one enlighten me ?

Well as our dear friends across the pond have taught us its hump day again ,and its lottery tonight too ,so with my one pound lucky dip lotto ,I'm going to win tonight !

Well you can dream cant you ? I laugh when people say it wouldnt change them ! it would me , I dont want to win millions...ideally I'd win just enough for us to live comfortably , But on the other hand if it had to be millions I'd look after alot of charities ,and the begging letters ...I still keep sending them (the old ones are still the best )lol ...........Well I guess thats me for this evening ,I'm off to the kitchen to make my self something to eat then ,my knitting and the tele .. have a good one folks with love from ...

That is a great picture by Maurice, love it.  Well, I have not even thought of hanging baskets yet because we could still get frost so hope yours are protected.  I never win the lottery. I doubt a win of several thousand would change my life that much. We would replace the double-glazing, have the bathroom and kitchen re-done, get a little porch put up at the front.  If it were lots of thousands, we would move.  I would be horrified if I won millions, never wanted to. Too much money is as bad as not enough.  Anyway as I rarely even get a tenner that is never likely to happen and we are never likely to get the home improvements done either!!!!

Hi Jan,

I`ll be buying my Summer plants on Saturday.  I think I`ll plant petunias in my wall planters because I got a great display last year.  Let`s hope we get enough sun to do them justice.  Clever Maurice, I hope Snoopy didn`t have to sit still to have his portrait done...lol!  I don`t even know what Hump Day is?  Perhaps someone will enlighten me. :o)

PS:  You can`t win the lottery tonight because my name`s on the jackpot...lol!

Hi, what a hot day, no wonder you were out in your garden. Have a feeling you may win on the lottery, fingers crossed..Remind me of your address if you do, lol
We gave  money to the earthquake/Tusami? charity but then found out that it is still being held in a bank and I just hope these deserving people get it, but sadly, with world corruption, it takes a long time.If I won the lottery, I would provide free vets for people with animals who find it very expensive. It would have to be a big win. Also, I would help the macmillan nurses and provide more hospices.
Have a lovely evening Jan

That's brilliant, and funny......clever!!! Love your graphics! And we're after trailing geraniums.......daft question but can you buy them already trailing??? or do you have to grow them like that??? sorry, new to gardening.....still learning :-)

Jan
Thanks for reminding me last night was the lottery drawing.  It was here, too, and I need to check my tickets.  Tell Maurice he has a gift!  I'm sure he already knows it, LOL!  His drawing is really good.  If I won the lottery it would change the way I live, no question there.

LOL...send some sun across the pond, please.  I know we needed rain but enough is enough.  Wow, Maurice is quite the artist.  So, the "hump" day is spreading through the UK...so funny.  Our lottery night is also Wednesday.  I've often thought the same thing you do about the huge amounts.  Just give me a little bit to be comfortable.  Not to worry...I'm lucky if I have one number.  Have a good one!  Love your graphic at the top.  HUGS Chris

Like the ideas on what folks would do if they won the lottery.  With a BIG win I'd like to do something nice for the old folks everywhere.  I'd also like to put on a musical in the West End - featuring all the 50's/60's Pop Stars who are still alive Cameron Mackintosh/Bill Kenwright please contact me lol! :-))
about 10 years ago my nephew aged only 25 and his mates in their syndicate won £203,000 each.  So now you all know someone whos knows someone who won the lottery! :-)
