No REGRETS !

Dont you love pictures that tell a story ?Look at the delight on these childrens faces as they play in this old car they have found ,the dog and the chickens are enjoying them selves too ,Of course you realise this is another of Donna's very clever designs .If you want to have a look at more of Donna's work ,her name is in my side bar ,pop over ,you won't be disapointed .I wonder if the children grew up with a love of vehicles as my sons have done ,on my eldests son Marks Birthday ,he and his wife Chrissy went to Truckfest ,at the East of England show ground in Peterborough ,they go most years I have been a couple of times ,they asked me to join them this as Maurice was working ,but I declined ...but when they came over last Sunday ,they brought with them a selection of pictures they had taken ,I chose some of them and scanned them to show you ....These lorrys are amazing, the air brushing on them is so very clever ,real works of art, I particularly liked the ones with Edith Piaf

Singer, born in Paris. Abandoned by her mother at birth and raised by her grandmother, she was blinded for four years by meningitis, and it was her father, an acrobat, who encouraged her to sing. She started her career by singing in the streets, graduating to cabaret, and becoming known as Piaf, from the Parisian slang for "sparrow'. She appeared in plays and films, but it was for her songs, with their undercurrent of sadness and nostalgia, that she became legendary, travelling widely in Europe and America. Despite her phenomenal success, her life was marred by unhappiness and illness. Among her best-remembered songs are "La vie en rose', and "Non, je ne regrette rien'.

Well folks the sun is shining ,so I'm going to go and enjoy it ,so just a short entry today ,but I will be back ,and I have some exciting news to share with you when I've got my head round it my self

Have a lovely day where ever  you are ...with love from

Jan xx

Amazing paintwork on the lorries.  Went to the truckfest once but on that occasion we were very disappointed as there wasn't much there . It has obviously improved a lot.    Donna's graphic is cute.  Eve

I love this picture of the kids in the car. I like to go to the antique car shows. Sometime they will have them on display here in the park and some of them are indeed a work of art. Paula

I love the "little sparrow" and have a couple of her albums.  Great graphic.  Mike has always wanted to go to the truckfest but has not made it yet.  He used to drive big wheels so it interests him very much.  Have a great weekend.

Wow, Those images of the Trucks were fantastic. I wish I had known that was on. I'm sure my son would have loved to have seen it. It would have made a good day out for Win and I and my son and his family. We can get to Peterborough in a couple of hours. We have friends that live in a small village called Thorney a few miles away from Peterborough.
Regards Dan's Images.

That is a fascinating truck.  My son would love that as he has alwasy had a love of cars and trucks since he was a wee one.  As always, Donna amazes me.  Animation is so hard to accomplish and make it look real.  She is the best!  Have a great weekend!  HUGS  Chris

The pictures were quite interesting.  Edith Piaf was one of my mothber's favorite singers and I remember listening to her records with mom as a young child, hearing the French language for my first time.  Congratulations on being chosen to be featured by AOL.  It shows that someone at AOL has good taste!
