As I was going to Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Every wife had seven sacks,
Every sack had seven cats,
Every cat had seven kits,
Kits , cats , sacks , and wives,
How many were going to St. Ives?
It reminded me of some pictures I had taken on our way there ,some time ago ,fields with llamas ,these were taken when they had all been shorn ,Thankfully I noticed that their fleeces have grown again ,Think of all that lovely knitting wool 'corr '
We called in at the Garden and leisure centre too and guess what ? You remember those big polar bears that were for sale ? Maurice drew my attention to the fact that they had all been sold ...thought we were in a credit squeeze ,I hadnt noticed I had my head down making for the craft section ,Well I think that is it for today, except to say it has turned very cold so if you are going out wrap up ,you can borrow my socks if you like ... lots of Love

I am SO happy! I haven't been able to access your blog for some reason. I found a link to this on another blog and clicked on it. Presto! I am here! I saved this to my favorite places so I won't lose you again.
I've missed reading your blog! The good thing is, I spend a lot of time reading old posts today. I feel like we had the morning together!
Hugs, Kathy
Lots of sweaters to be had with all of that wool! It's just starting to get cool here in the mornings. No winter here yet.

Gimmee them socks! It's freezing down here and I've been out all afternoon shopping with my grand daughter! I love llamas, I saw hundreds in Peru, their coats are so soft. Recession or not people can't live without their polar bears! Lol! Stay warm and enjoy the rest of the weekend. Jeannette xx
I could really do with your socks and some of the cardies you have knitted ~ it is freezing here ~ we have at least 3 inches of snow and it is still snowing ~ can't remember the last time we had it so early !!!!!

Not been to St Ives for a long long time. In fact in those days you could still get there by train. Always been fascinated by the name of the town between St Ives and Huntingdon--Godmanchester. No snow in Kent-yet
Love the pictures, not often you see LLama's outside of a zoo! it was nice to have a chat today.
Take care

Trying to catch up . Love the pictures and admire all your crafts in the previous entry. Your are very talented. Stay warm.
Sorry you had all this trouble today with your entry. What do you do with a large polar bear in your house at Christmas I barely have room for our tree. Love Joan.
It is terribly cold here also. We've been spoiled the past few years. It hasn't gotten frigid until January and is usually pretty mild right now. Ugh... I didn't realize there were llamas in the UK. Keep warm...love xx
I loved the pictures of the llamas. I expect they need their nice warm wool now I know how windy it can be in your part of the world. Christine
