January 25 th on the 24 th

Debbie my friend ,made this tag, when we first welcomed Miz Kiz to our home .

I am calling this entry,January 25th ,because tomorrow ,I will be spending the day with my daughter Kate ,daughter in law Chrissie and Chrissie's friend Dawn.So doubt if I will have time tomorrow

Tomorrow also ,the day our friends North of the border ,in Scotland celebrate ,the birth of the Bard, Robbie Burns ,he was a poet  and writer , he wrote Auld Lang Synne ,which we all sing at New Year ,Hogmonay ,he wrote an amusing little poem Ode to a Mouse ,Wee sleekit timerous beastie ....and aw that ,but my favourite ,has to be  ,set to music is a world favourite love song

Oh  My Love is like a Red Rd Rose.......

Tomorrow would have been my dear Mum's Birthday

It is now eighteen years since she died, but oh I miss her still ,such a gentle soul ,and as a child had lived quite a hard life ,which I told in my journal a couple of years ago  ,but she taught us so much ,respect, manners and all the good old fashioned values ,many of which I have tried to pass on to my own children ,and endeavor to live by many of them today ,Yes I miss you Mum .

Let me see ,what else is there about tomorrow ,oh yes I know ....Yay its Kizzie's Birthday

Look at that dear little Puppy, this was taken last March ,when she joined Maurice and I and took over our home ! What ever happened to the little black ears .

Did I really fit into that bag ?

A very Happy Birthday Kizzie,I hope we all spend many Happy years to gether .... What is it about girls and their handbags? she is resting her head on my black one now

And to you all have a lovely day and as ever love from

Kizzie is adorable!  How she has grown.  Yes, Jan, we never stop missing our Mothers.  Mine has been gone since 1981 but lying in bed last night dreading the doctor's this morning I found myself talking to her and asking for her help.  You can never replace a mother.  All went well, more medication to use for a week.  Burns night already?  How time goes.  Oh, I have posted a game on the sidebar of my journal, you have probably seen it on Guido's.  Have a go.  I managed to contribute 7000 grains of rice today.

Dunno if it's your page or my computer but this entry has all gone askew, with the 'add comments' link way off to the right hand side.
Oh well, never mind, I'm sure it will sort itself out sometime.
Happy birthday mum and Kizzy.
Have a good day tomorrow Jan.

What happened to the comments?
Are you sure it's Kizzie in all the photos?  She looks different each time!  Gorgeous though
I do think they're clever, the people who make tags.  I wouldn't know where to start.

I just thank my lucky stars every day that i still have my wonderful mum and the bestest friend a girl could ever have - My Mum. Lovely picture of Nana and Kizzie, happy birthday to you both. It certainly doesn't seem 18 years since we sat with Nana singing. We will have a lovely day tomorrow, we don't even have to buy anything - just spending time together is good. Also I hope the comment at the bottom wasn't Debbie warning me of the sheep (Can't afford anymore this side of Christmas, they cost the earth to feed, you know).

Awwww Jan I'm sorry to read about your mum ~ she looks like a lovely person in the photo.  Happy birthday to Miz Kiz though :)  It's amazing how small she was ~ reminds me of our yorkshire terrior when we first got him, he would fit in the palm of our hands :o)  How they grow huh??

Was it just me who couldn't get into anyone's  blog yesterday???

So here I am now, and I can hardly believe that Kizzie is a year old!  Where did that year go??

Must be coming up for someone elses birthday too?????? ;-)

Kizzie looks so cute, I bet she is absolutely adorable.  Lovely pic of you and your mum, Jan.  My mum died just a few weeks before her eightieth birthday - we were planning a big party for her :-(  That will be 18 years ago in July.  How time flies!

all the best

How odd is AOL being? I had to sign in to leave a comment when I'm already signed into AOL and why have your comments gone up the side? As for my Search Results Screen!!!!!!

Anyway, how Kizzie has changed! Can't believe it's the same dog but she's still lovely.

We're picking up a rescue dog on Monday. Fingers crossed all goes well. I shall put some photos in my blog as soon as I can.

Lovely picture of you and your Mum.
