January 2nd

Good morning ! no its afternoon ! I have been clearing out the file manager file ,so many lovely graphics, I collected and didnt use ,so forgive me for this one its so nice I couldnt resist ,any way its only the 2nd so its still new year isnt it ?

Well Maurice went back to work this morning ,and the children here ,go back to school  on Thursday ,Derek my son is going to make another stab at a visit tomorrow evening ,remember he had to postphone /postpone ?before Christmas due to the awful fog,so that will be nice ,I have been ringing round the rest of the family to let them know,he will be coming by himself ,he actually lives in Dorset ,but works in London near Heathrow ,so he will head up here after work on Wednesday ,then go back Thursday morning ,just a flying visit ,but better than nothing ,so more presents to swap (that have been in our spare room since before Christmas ) It is the first meeting of the year of the over sixties club ,in the afternoon ,I will try to go ,we have to pay our subs for the year ,dont want them thinking I'm trying to shirk that do I ?I will be home from that about four fifteen so I will have time before Derek arrives ,Well I should go and unearth the ironing pile ,I have had hidden ,be brave and do something useful with myself ,and so on that daunting note I will go!        Have a good day everyone with love from .....

You are lucky Jan. I still cannot use file manager.  I can get into it but if I try and add or delete anything it either comes up Gateway error or takes me to the web. I have given up on it, I have complained so many times but it has made no

difference.  Enjoy your ironing!!

You use such lovely graphics Jan. They make your journal entries bright and colourful. When you delete graphics from File Manager, do they appear on your blog as a box with a little red square in the corner? I find File Manager very annoying! Sometimes it will let me use graphics, sometimes not. I go back to school on the 9th. So glad you will get to see you son after he prospned his last visit. That will make a good start to the New Year, I bet.

Best Wishes,
Leigh :-)

I know how things are, Jan; so many loose ends.  I'm going to let it all stew until next week, taking things as they come.  A little bit of everything daily..........The Procrastinator (aka Bunny) xx

Have fun with your son's visit and enjoy the over sixties club < which I should be going to here in the US >
Yes it's still New Years...I still have my Christmas tree up until Jan. 6th. For some reason I have always left it up till then out of respect for my ex MIL who was Greek Russian Orthadox. That was her Christmas, she has passed over 2 years now but I still feel the need to recognise that Holiday.
Have a good day Jan and my house is quiet too..everyone went back to work sooo time for me to do some cleaning.

I guess it's sort of nice to spread out the holidays a little.  Hope the fog stays away this time and Derek can get in for a visit.  My #2 son and his family left for their home when I left for work this morning .  Now I can begin the undecorating and all the laundry that has piled up around here.  'On Ya' - ma

Hellooo Jan!  Love your graphics, especially the Tuesday one, where did you get that? I hope you have a nice visit with Derek this time, what a shame he couldnt get there because of that awful fog. Better pay those subs, you don`t want to be thrown out of the over-sixties club do you...lol! ;o)
