When we're done we'll sit in the garden!

When Donna created this lovely graphic she called it ' Irish country garden' ,well when we moved here, some eighteen months ago,the garden had very little done to it ,Maurice redesigned it ,that first summer ,he put decking out side the patio door ,and surrounded it with trellis, all the shrubs we planted are now shooting,so this summer we are going to enjoy our 'Irish country garden'! You see Maurice is Irish by birth ,and we live in the country ,Thankyou Donna very apt ,and as I said,to her , she reminded me,we planned to buy a Buddlia tree to encourage the butterflys (is that how you spell Buddlia?) I feel a garden centre visit is required !

As you will see I posted pictures ,many of you asked to see the fireplace when it was done ,I thought you'd enjoy  seeing some of the work in progress ,Maurice and his 'helper'....me I'm the tea boy !

Dawn over at 'A couple of Nomads 'pointed out the following interesting fact ~

On Wednesday of next week, April 5th
at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00
in the morning,
the time and date will be
01:02:03 04/05/06!
Well the sun is shining here ,and it certainly makes you feel good !Have a lovely day every one ,lots of love  Remember this one Sara ?I certainly made use of it ,considering when you made it for me I didnt know what to do with it !!!

The fireplace is coming on now isn't it, Scooby made a good job of it!! I wouldn't try sitting in the garden yet, unless you have an arctic jacket!! Have a good week. Jeannette xx

Nice pictures Jan. We moved into our house about ten years ago and for the first two or three of them we were making all manner of alterations to our garden. It got so bad that the plants could be seen to shuffle nervously whenever we entered the garden. Some of the shrubs were moved so often they sued for harrassmment, lol.
Thankfully, we've got it just how we want it now and an uneasy peace has settled over the garden in the last couple of years. B. x
