A wander round the shops

Imagine sitting here ,glass of red wine ,its been a hot day ,now its cooled down and evening time- relax !!  (another lovely design by Donna )

We went to Huntingdon today, and although the sun was lovely, that wind still has a cruel bite ,We went for a wander round a craft fair, we discovered ,didnt buy anything but came back with a few ideas ,We went to look for some ideas for a vase to put into the fireplace  and some twiggy things to put into the vase ,The fire surround it self is coming on great, all the wood work is done ,Maurice rang up a paint suppliers yesterday ,for some advice as much as anything ,found himself talking to our neighbour Mark  ,the out come was it was decided to paint rather than spray ,and Mark came home Friday evening with all the right stuff so ,Maurice has been priming away ,As I said we went to town ,and found the vase and twiggs ,I will post a picture when its finished which I dont think will be long now ,We went to see my friends Ian and Bev in the wool shop ,my mecca !! Then we found a nice place for a cappachino ,and a ciggy ,before we popped into Wilkinsons for a bag full of goodness what ? you would know what, if we ran out though ! toothpaste, gas for my hair  tongues ,you now what I mean,oh and washing tablets are cheaper there ! as we arrived home Mark met us at the door,he'd been to work this morning and had brought home the paint ,so you can guess what Maurice is doing whilst I dash of this entry ,I bought a kentucky fried chicken type dinner from M&S so that is in the oven now ,and we bought some of their merangues for afters ,so I will wish you all a lovely evening with love

Thankyou Donna ,click onto Donnas name in my side bar ,well worth a visit

Twig vases are lovely, especially if the twigs have some catkins on them for a bit of colour; looking forward to seeing the end result!!!

Hi Jan, sounds as though you`ve had a busy day.  I have a vase I was bought for christmas and I need some dried flowers or twig thingies to put in it.  I`ve seen some in Wilkinsons and I expect I`ll buy them soon.  I love Wilkinsons and by all my household products and toiletries there.  They always have such great bargains there.  I`m looking forward to the photo of the vase. :o)

It really sounds like you had a lovely day the two of you.  I always think its nice if you have a purpose when you are out shopping even if it is only everyday products and you had a vase to look for as well. Looking forward to pictures. Love Joan.

Hi Jan, yep I can quite easily imagine sitting here relaxing !! We seem to be having the same weather at the moment, very chilly wind. I love craft fairs ~ sadly not many of them about here, which is a shame. LOL Wilkinsons ~ I go in for one thing and come out with two carrier bags LOL And isn't M&S food a lovely treat :-)
