Hi There ,a miscellany this evening !I have posted some pictures ,as you can see ,the first one is Daughter Kates dog Maddy ,smiling away ,at work !yes shes got a job, only part time granted, but its a start !she's doing some guard dog duties at the place my son in law Martin works !Well a girl has to earn a biscuit where she can !Kate often puts a comment on my journal and is called 'Kate gshepherd '(German Shepherd )get it ?of course you did !

The next picture is self explanatory ,Maurice took this one coming home from work one morning .No 3 Is the Police helicopter ,these helicopters are Based at RAF Wyton near Huntingdon, and I think we must be under the flight path on the way to Peterborough ,so often see them overhead ,They work the whole of the Cambridge area .The rest of the pictures ,are of a' Fen blow 'I mentioned a few days ago,and it is weird driving through one ,I havent quite captured the feeling of it but thought I'd post them anyway ,its peculiar to this time of year ,a considerable amount of soil is blown across the fields ,often taking the seeds the farmers have planted  with it .

I was watching Loose Women at lunch time today ,and one of the topics was 'Cosmic shopping 'Noel Edmonds was also talking about it on Parky the other night ,or as we've been calling it visualisation ,What do you want ? where are you going ?now theres a thought !Me ....I think to the first ~more time !(to live, because there is still alot to do )and to the second ~ON !

Maurice has gone off to work so I'm going to make myself something to eat and watch Holby city ,I hope I've left you with some food for thought lol.........With Love

Aw Lovely doggy  pic
I'm going to be the first to answer today Jan!  I'm trying to get another episode of my diaries written up, but got side-tracked watch The Apprentice.
Which road were you on?
I was in Huntingdon today, but couldn't find the murals - the cinema wasn't where I last saw it ?!?

Pics reminded me of travelling to Wisbech and stopping en route to buy massive cooking apples from a stall at the roadside during the apple season.  Cosmic shopping.....a friend  said he had always been so sure we would meet again as I was always in the forefront of his mind....and when we did meet it came about through "coicidences" which seemed as if fate had taken a hand.  Kates dog is lovely.  I have always liked Alsations but don't see many these days.  Eve

Hi Jan, isn`t Maddy a lovely dog, and how nice of her to earn her keep...lol!  The photos are very interesting, I`ve never been to the fens but I`ve heard about them.  It must be costly for the farmers if they lose their seeds.  I saw Noel Edmonds on Parky, Cosmic Shopping...?  I prefer the real kind! :o)

What a beautiful dog. That is the first time I have ever seen soil blowing like that. We have what we call whirl winds which is soil going around like a small tornado but are short lived. Just a minute or less.
In the spring the pollen blows sorta like that when it is a windy day. Thanks for sharing those pictures. They are very interesting. Helen

Hi everyone, hope your all well and dandy! Maddie sends her love too although she is at work (ha ha) at the moment, because i have hurt my back she has been going round with the security man and does nights. She loves it and believe it or not, when 6 o'clock comes and she knows that this lad jason is gonna collect her, she fetches her lead. She don't look so dandy when she comes home at 6 in the morning though. Usually has loads of food and then collapses on the floor. Well a girl has to make a living you know. She is as soft as a brush and idolises my two boys, and any other kids and adults who are about. She's a real flirt! Will send mum more pictures so that you can see her again real soon. Take care all - kate xxxxx

holby was good last night wasn't it, I love that programme. We went on a visit to see our police helicopter in Devizes, it is also used as an air ambulance. It was really interesting seeing it and being told how much it costs to run...........Jules xx

I have been reading just not commenting...Every time i go to make a comment on someones journal or other one of the kids shouts for something ot the phone rings and i then forget to go back do it...So nice to see you can hang yer washing out, i can't :o(  Hope your back is on the mend...We're on the flight path for rescue helicopters to land at the hospital...I hate hearing one go overhead as it means someone somewhere has been hurt badly...Take care Caff xxx

Great pictures Jan, thanks for sharing.  Love Maddie.  I never watch Holby.  I have a phobia about hospitals so anything like that makes me feel sick.
I have read about that Cosmic thing as well.  Wonder if it works, no harm in giving it a shot is there lol

Maddy is a good looking dog and she pays for her own food.  Pretty good deal.. I have never heard of a "Fen Bow", guess I'm lucky at that.
I guess it's because I've always been more of a city girl. (Long time since I was a girl LOL )   Take care.     Dawn
