Happy the bride the sun shines on !

Donna thank you for this lovely graphic ,it is perfect for this entry .

On Friday ,after the dentist ,and before we decided to go to Peterborough ,I remarked on the weather and how lovely it would be if it was like this tomorrow for Joan's daughters wedding ,Maurice said would you like to go and have a look !Would I !.....we dont know what time it is !!ring the registry office says Maurice ...we dont know her surname... OH !....email her .....She wont be there  she'll be busy today .....TRY !!......turn on computer ,go onto AOL ..takes for ever !...I.M,Anirajac..I just caught Joan she was just off to lunch with Angela and Sam,got the details and voila ,sorted !

Next morning dawned bright and sunny ,having a lazy coffee and cig ,Kate rings up ,are you going to be in today we thought we'd come over ,No Kate we'are going over to Oundle ,just for a look, a friends daughter is getting married ! ....Oh can I come !

So we arrived in Oundle some ,twenty seven miles away ,and looked for parking not very successfully the wedding before, was still there so Maurice stayed with the car and Kate and I got out and walked down abit ,as we waited the previous wedding party started to come out ,so Kate said I'm going over the road to watch ,mistake because when Angela and Joan arrived she couldnt get back over ,It was lovely to meet Joan fleetingly ,If Kate had been with us I'd have asked her to take a pic of Joan and I together,ah well ........It really was a lovely wedding...I took the picture of the car ,planning to ask you to guess where we'd been that day ,then changed my mind ,after all it was Joans day and I wanted her to tell it all.One rather poignant thought ,see pictures six and seven ,My Mum and Dad went through that door sixty six years ago, when they got married ,and our births were registered there too ,and I'd never been there before ,Is'nt that lovely ?

Signature sent to me by Sandra (scribbles)...very appropriate for this entry thank you Sandra xx

I have seen all the pictures of the wedding on both journals.  How lovely!  Wonderful of Maurice to take you and so nice that you were able to meet a journal friend.  Great entry and lovely graphic.

Hi Jan.  Thankyou, thankyou & thankyou again for doing such a lovely entry on Angela's big day; you also got some really nice pics....unfortunalely I had to go in before the ones outside the door were taken. It was so kind of Maurice to drive you over, and also that Kate came with you. Love to you all, Joan

Hi Jan, I`m glad you did a bit of detective work to get to Angela`s wedding.  How lovely that you got to meet Joan, even if it was briefly, shame you didn`t get a photo.  I nearly didn`t send that siggie to you but then though why not?  I`m glad I did now. :o)

PS:  I saw the pic of Snoopy on Val`s entry, he looks so sweet!
