What was I knitting ?

Look what Winivere made for me isnt it great ?

Hi every one, Maurice is in bed its 10 .30 and as  I had a little sleep this afternoon  I thought would do a quick entry ,before going to bed. I suppose like me you are all busy ,I have a few more cards to write ,A couple more presents then I’m done ,I finished my knitting ,and am wondering what to make next ,I have a meeting on Monday morning followed by a Christmas lunch ,with the members of the tenants forum ,Maurice and I went to Huntingdon on Friday bought quite a lot of Christmas presents there ,It’s a much smaller town than Peterborough ,so the shopping isn’t as frantic ,and there are some lovely shops .Well I asked you a couple of entries ago what you thought I was knitting, I had some interesting answers, I must admit to throwing you off the scent a bit by talking about socks, many of you thought I was knitting socks, some thought a scarf Kath from ‘my simple rhymes’ thought I look nice in it whatever it was …..Of course my sister Jean, daughter Kate and my friend Debbie knew, so I thank them for keeping my secret, so what was I knitting?......

How adorable!  I guessed wrong for sure !  Glad you let us see the finished product.  I'm just about all done with all the wrapping and preparation so now I can sit back and enjoy the Christmas holiday. I will have to work all week long, but then 4 days off !  'OnYa' - ma

How cute Jan!  Looks like she loves it indeed.  Hows the weather across the pond?  Snow yet?  The shopping sounds fun.  I love browing and unhurried, but being hurried has become part of the season has it not?  I've done a little "online" shopping, but nothing big in the stores as of yet.  Have a good sleep and wonderful weekend.  I'm off to work.  De ;)

That is a masterpiece Jan!  Modelled to perfection.
Too late now, but just ideal for my daughter's Hunny Bee, who is smooth-coated, and feels the cold.
I must take up knitting again.

You should go into business Jan you would be rich in no time at all. You make me so envious with your knitting I used to knit so many garments for the three of us Richard never had a bought school sweater and I knitted some great ones for Stuart when he golfed. Alas pain in the shoulders put paid to that a few years ago now I can only crochet and I have enough blankets to start a shop.  Keep up the good work can't wait to see what is next. Love Joan
