Here I am again !

Thankyou Chris ,CABS  creations for todays lovely graphics .

I cant believe where the time has gone since I last posted ,I have been quite busy ,in spite of still having some bad days ,I seem to be coping better, I went back to a news letter meeting two weeks ago ,and an article I wrote has been accepted for the next edition ,then I went to a meeting of the residents forum ,I am the secretary ,well since my illness I was the secretary that wasnt ,so at the last meeting I took the minutes so looks as thouigh Im on track again ,and because we are on the forum representing the residents we were invited to the Sheltered housing conferance ,another day I thoroughly enjoyed ,I know so many people since I did holiday/sickness cover when I first retired, as some of you might remember ,so yes it was great to see so many old friends ,and to be greeted by them was lovely .What other news have I ? oh yes Maurice now works permanent days ,making my life so much easier ,I am injured too ,as you will see ,in the pictures, Kizzie likes to be attached to me.... a week ago I tripped over her in the kitchen ,and banged my side on the work surface ,think I probably cracked a rib or something , gosh it hurt ,but nearly better now ,though at first it did hurt if I sat at the computer too long ,and at one point I had 157 emails for your journals ,but I have now caught up ,hence this entry ,I ended up just reading ,I cant bring my self to delete ,too nosy ! I might be missing something ! I dont feel right doing an entry ,when I have alerts still to read ,strange woman !!Oh the other exciting ? thing is ...I finished the cardigan I have been knitting ,so when I sew it up I will put a picture of it on here so you can see what Ive been up to ....Well I really think that is it for this time ,so as ever Love Janxx

Im sorry but you will just have to fart on your dogs head to make it move.Thats what i used to do.Now my problem is Ty, he likes to sit on my lap and bang the keyboard, push buttons and generally bugger up the computer, so I try to get everything done whilst hes asleep, lol!!And yes, i tried farting on Ty but that didnt work as his behind stinks more than mine and hes used to it.Lol!! beckie x

Hi Jan, So sorry to hear of your injury, ouch!  sounds painful.  I once tripped over one of my cats whilst rushing off to work, by the time I got there my ankle had swollen to double it's size and someone had to drive me home again!
Kizzie looks such a sweetheart and obviously loves being near you, I have to put up with one or other of my cats insisting on being on my knee when I'm at the computer - makes typing very difficult - sigh......
Hope you are generally feeling much better.
I have been off the computer for a week as it blew a fuse :-(  I am just lost without it, it did get me back into reading though, and I will do a blog entry about the book, now that I back on line.

I somehow don't think it's the 157 alerts that kept you back, Jan, but the doggie that insists on sharing your chair ;-)

Lovely to hear from you, Jan; Kizzie is a knockout!
I have spaniel/stove syndrome to cope with - they all like the warmth from the range, so it's difficult to get near enough to cook anything............

I'm so glad you feel like posting again Jan.  It's lovely to see your face too...not just Kizzie's.
You must have given yourself a real good knock to crack a rib.  And I bet it hurt too!  Poor you!
Nice to hear that life is normalising again and that Maurice is going on to day shift.
Take care in case that little monkey getting under your feet again. Looking forward to seeing your cardi'.

Good to see you Jan, and thanks for popping by to see me!! I miss your entries but when they do come along they are packed with news....perhaps that is better than more frequent entries!! I am going to try and update tonight, we'll see what happens providing Sam does not try and climb on my lap while I am using my laptop again!!!

I am glad that you didn't hurt yourself any worse. They tell me those ribs can be very painful though. Glad that you are feeling better. That is nice that Maurice has went on day shift. Now you wont have to tiptoe around being quite.  Kizzy looks so sweet and she has really grown. Seems like not to long ago she was just a pup. Helen

It's nice to hear from you again, Jan.  I have missed your entries, but when Alerts arrive in my inbox they are always full of news.  I am always accidently tripping over my cats.  Touchwood, I have had few injuries.  I am glad to hear that Maurice is back on days.  It'll be nice for you both, and he can form some sort of routine.  I am also glad to hear that you are getting out and about doing your usual activities, and the bad days are lifting...

All the best,
Leigh :)

I'm so glad to hear from you again. It's been a few weeks!! Sorry to hear you are injured. That type of injury is one of the biggest causes of ER visits. People trip over their animals a lot. Also...be very careful if you use throw rugs! If they aren't rubber backed they'll slip right out from under you!
I enjoyed your series of pictures. Kizzie has grown tall!! She's sooooo cute! And your captions made me laugh! You two are a pair, that's for sure.
Take care of yourself Jan. I've missed you.
Hugs...Pam

Oh Jan, I really laughed at you and the pictures of the doggie, what a character!  Thankfully both ours are two big to do that but Leo likes to sit on my computer desk or Mike's and watch the screen, especially if we are playing games and things keep moving.

Jan, it's always great to get an alert from you!  I know how it is to feel guilty about posting an entry in MY journal, when I've got tons to catch up on.  So, if you're weird, than so am I! lol

Sorry to hear about your rib injury.  Owww!  :(   I'm glad to hear you are healing and feeling much better.

Your puppy is adorable!  Thanks for sharing the pics! :)

Hi Jan, wondered where you'd got to. I'm the same as you, I can't write an entry when I've got alerts.

Kizzie looks quite happy being used a as cushion.

Kizzy is a beauty and not so little anymore. I know the feeling of having a dog with you non-stop. I've banged poop Pickles nose a couple of times turning around too quickly. She's sitting on my feet now at the computer. Sounds like you've been busy this past month. Love the graphic, I remember having a Holly Hobbie doll when I was little. (Hugs) Indigo

Hi Jan,
I can't believe how big Kizzie has got! She's got the sweetest little face too, very cheeky! I hope your ribs are healing, animals do like to get under your feet! I'm glad Maurice is now on days, it'll be nice for you not to be alone indoors at night. I'm like you, I feel guilty about doing an entry if I have a pile of alerts to read! Well done on finishing the cardigan, I can't wait to see it! I remember you going out on cold winter mornings to do sickness and holiday cover a couple of years ago. I'm glad you're coping better. Have a lovely week. Jeannette xx

I'm sure your Kizzie is smiling (pic #9.  I love it if our Sally shares my chair cos she's always lovely and warm.  You're a lass after my own heart:  I'm too nosey to delete anything so by the time I've read everything, my news has turned into history!

Kizzie is so adorable and does look bigger now.  I'm so glad to hear that you are getting back into things again.  I so understand the darkness.  I've had some problems myself since I stopped smoking.  Just keep yourself occupied.  It goes aways eventually.  LOL at not making an entry until your alerts are caught up.  I am the same way.  I also won't put any tags in my journal until I get all caught up.   I just don't feel right about it.  Love xx Chris

glad you are feeling better Jan (apart from your side) it's not a quick job recovering from depression, you are doing well! I love the pictures, kizzie is sooo big now! she loves you to bits you can see that aw...Linda x x

Kizzie is adorable!  What a face!  She must make you laugh everyday.  I think my Kasey would jump on my chair, too, if she had long legs like Kizzie.  She, instead, lays on my feet.  LOL   Aren't they just the most wonderful creatures?

Jan, I'm laughing at your pictures because I have a helper too, but he's my 2.5yo grandson. He does the same thing has to sit in my lap and I have to type one handed OR he decides to sit behind me too on the same chair. It is so funny half the time I'm scared he's gonna fall off the chair, but he never does.
Take care, Chrissie
