Meet Miss Kizzie

Thankyou yet again for todays graphic, Donna I was going to use the one on your entry today ,but it had snow ,and though its forecast for next week ,We really dont want anymore !

Like so many of you ,my mind has been going back to Jeannette today ,who was to undergo her surgery for breast cancer ,I pray it all went well .

This is the third time I have done this entry ,my own fault my friend Debbie was here today showing me some short cuts, I obviously wasnt paying attention ,I think I have sussed it now!  though although I'm doing this entry,I have been told by a number of people that they arent getting my alerts !wonder if I sent out a multiple email to say I have posted would I get TOSD?

When we had to part from Scooby ,we both said ,never again  as you do ....,Well we went to visit a friend the other week ,we learned she breeds Jack Russells ,so said, we might like one, well she rang us last Tuesday ,to say she had this little bitch would we like her ,so off we went and fell for her ,We brought her home ,so now as well as dark damp patches on the carpet we have a puppy ,My daughter Kate came with us to collect her ,and we were trying out names Kate said Kizzie ,and yes it seemed just right .Maurice is on holiday for the next seven days to use up the last of his holiday quota,He was hoping to go fishing one day  but as I say snow has been forcast,so maybe he had better stay home to help with the toilet training ...well on that note its time for another little walk in the garden ....Have a lovely Weekend everyone ,with love

 Kizzie and  Jan xx

Oh how nice for you ,I just hope she doesn't chew your pooter wires up LOL.They are well noted that breed for chewing.I hope you have got the exception pup Jan.Yes I too have had Jeannette in my thoughts and prayers too. It's the waiting and wondering of the news how people have gone on. Thats the worst isn't it Jan. I have just had another phone call not five minutes since to tell me My eldest sons best friend has just died 36 today of a massive heart attack.2007 has been a nightmare so far.How do we cope at times. The Good Lord is giving me stregnth this week I am sure.Well I hope your little pup brings you lots of happy hours Jan and take care yourself.I hope Maurice enjoys his break.Don't be tripping up over his lead now.I don't need any more bad news thankyou. It has turned bitter tonight over here.I am off in thebath now and to watch some TV all alerts have been caught up on.Thankyou for my past comments they are so appreciated.Lovely name for your new puppy you have chosen..Take Care God Bless.

She is so cute, Jan!!  :)  I love puppies.. and even though they can be hard to potty train in the beginning.. they are so worth the trouble later on.  Nothing like the unconditional love of a dog..

Hugs

I am sorry Jan, I didn't know you had lost Scooby. I was thinking about him yesterday and how he would run to your computer when he heard the alert ding. Your new puppy is so cute. She will have a lot of our Patches ways and build. They really are an active breed. I will be looking forward to seeing bunches of pictures as she grows up. My prayers have been with Jeannette today. Have a nice weekend with Maurice and Miss Kizzy.

I was awake last night at around 11pm Pacific Daylight Savings Time, and I was praying hard for our Jeannette.  I was sure at that moment in time she was up, either getting ready to go to the hospital or perhaps even already there.  Good luck with the puppy potty training.  That's why I prefer cats...I love dogs, too but shy away from getting one because I don't have the energy to deal with all the stuff that goes along with raising a puppy.  Beautiful graphics!  Linda in Washington

Kizzie is adoreable!  I miss my old dog Guy.  He was a Tri-colour Border Collie. Dogs are such great companions.  I think I will just have to come and steal little Kizzie from you.  Have fun watching her grow up. Give her a 'cuddly duddly' from her Auntie Jeanie xx

What an adorable puppy!! My thoughts are with Jeannette today too. Hope the surgery went well. Her daughter is going to keep us updated. Best wishes,

Your little bundle of wet spots is so adorable.  The joys of a puppy are thousandfold.  I remember when my 2 beagles were pups...I learned to be the neatest person around.  If you didn't pick it up it was chewed up.  Oh dear I lost 7 pairs of shoes and one handbag.  I don't think we ever got the toilet training right as I work all day and that's a very long time to do without the outdoors...well I loved them.  Now I'm down to just the one and he is 12 this year.  I don't know if I could ever do a puppy again.  Maybe when I retire.  Have fun and enjoy !

I forgot to say that yes, your alert did come through.  Mine haven't been working either off and on.  I did get a post from the journals editor saying they thought they got the problem fixed.

Oh Bless her, what a little sweetheart. We're trying to wait before we find someone to fill Harper's gap but I'm not sure I can wait too long.

I'm sure Jeanette is recovering fine this evening, lets hope they find its the least aggressive type.

Glad you finally got to tell all your friends about our Kizzie. I have been dying to say about her, she is truly adorable and smells all puppy too. I love her to bits already and am looking forward to seeing her tomorrow. Hope you and Maurice have a nice holiday, take it easy - well as much as Kizzie will allow. Love to you both as always, also Big Cousin Maddie says hi to the new addition to the family.

Oh Jan, I love her! She's so sweet and I'm sure she's gonna be so good and a worthy replacement for Scooby. I see you're already training her to water the grass in case of drought! She'll be great company when Maurice is at work too. Have a lovely weekend! Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/

Hi Jan ,Kizzie is so sweet  and so tiny ,looks so little in the garden compared to the lawn mower!!As she grows it will be nice to take her for walks .Like the graphics with the puppies in baskets with the pegs, those old pegs remind me of Mum.As you know we are off to Derby for the w/end .Happy St Patricks Day and Mothering Sunday ..........Love Jeanxx

Jan. I am speechless!  Miss Kizzie is gorgeous.  We have had two JRs, Monty, 1973-90, and Gus 1991-2004.  They are great little dogs.  I think the late Chalky, Rick Stein's dog had a greater following than his master.  Wishing you many happy years with this little companion.  Bunny xx

awww - I am so jealous!!  I have been wondering what it would be like to have a dog now that I'm retired and can spend plenty of time with it.  I thought a small dog, like the one you have would be nice, not tugging too much on the lead for my poor old arms.  But somehow don't think my cats would take too kindly to the idea, but will look forward to hearing all your posts on your little Kizzie, yes it is an excellent name!

Hope you are having a lovely Mother's Day Jan, I'm off to see my Grandson very shortly :-)

Hi Jan...

little Kizzie is so sweet. I love puppies and kittens, but i just could'nt go through the heartache of losing them all over again. I won't even look at a puppy or kitten i know what will happen if i do...lol. All my alerts are coming through HTML and i can't tell who some of them are for ( at my sky address ) so i just catch up reading some here and there...I hope you ar keeping well Jan...Best Wishes!

Kizzie is so cute, makes me almost run out & get a puppy...but again, I wouldn't want the house breaking, the puddles and the picking up of the poop.  I think I'm better to stick with my little cat, Gabi. All I do for her is put some food out and scoop the litter box once a day.  Very easy...Linda in Washington state

Jan, what an adorable puppy Kizzie is!  I know I same the same thing about Grizzly and not getting another as he is aging pretty quickly now.  Kizzie will soon learn to go potty where she is supposed to, and  you will have another beloved baby.  Love xx Chris

What a delightful addition to the family Kizzie is.  I love the photos of Kizzie in the purse, she is so tiny and cuddly looking.  The name seems to be perfect for her.
