''Keep as new ''

Thankyou Donna ....

Keep as new

I like to, read all your entries before I do my own posting, but this morning each one I tried to leave a comment on  I have been informed there is a server problem, so I’m not ignoring you folks its just I’m not allowed ,I have read the entries and clicked on ‘keep as new ‘,so if I can I will go back and comment ,if not you will know the reason for my silence ….Good old AOL  every time they give us something new and wonderful ,they take away something necessary and basic….Why give us the facility to make a comment ,then not allow us to ….and if we are really bad ,we get our buttons taken away ,me I’d sooner stand in the corner for half an hour ,or I’d even accept a slap of the ruler in the palm of my hand (been there ,done that, learned from it )(a long time ago! He he he) is it any wonder we don’t post as often as we used to, WE CANT!! Better stop whinging or my buttons will be confiscated.

Later …..Hey every thing is back, alleluia, but now it’s too late to do an entry …I went to the over sixties club this afternoon, had a brilliant time, the speaker was a gentleman writer, who though wheel chair bound kept us well amused, with his poems and stories of the fens ,observations on life in general, and from the chicken farm where he lives with his family, and I won six brown eggs that were fresh this morning ...so I will be back to tell you all about it later,as usual with love .....

Yummmm, 6 fresh brown eggs...sounds like a lovely cheese omlet to me.  Doesn't AOL make you mad sometimes?  But as for me...I will never leave them.   Have a good evening Jan, it's just 10am here right now.   Linda in rainy Washington

Here I am again - went to 'our' Charity shop today and bought a book on Presenter and DJ Ray Moore who died of cancer some years ago - now, the question is,  can you remember that funny little song that's associated with him?

Hi Jan,   Glad you had a good afternon. It is so nice when you get an interesting speaker. At our Wesley guild yesterday we had a great older(better not say old! though he was almost into his 80's!) chap talking with great passion about the Kennet and Avon Canal.     Enjoy your eggs.
Love Sybil x

Oh, my...I do love large brown eggs & also little Batum eggs...I think they are the best! I had several different types of chickens when I had a farm, we didn't eat ours but used them for eggs.
Glad you had a nice time with a lovely speaker.
Hugs, Sugar

My farmer friend delivers me fresh eggs every other week.  We can't eat too many now because of Bryan's cholesterol.  but you can't beat a fresh egg.  Lovely deep yellow yolks and the tast is just so different when they are free range.  Looking forward to your recounting on your afternoon with your gentleman writer. That sounds interesting.  Enjoy your chuckie eggs tomorrow.....Jeanie

Hello Jan,

I couldn`t even get online yesterday as AOL had no intention of letting me in!  I must admit I`m really getting fed up with it...grrr! mmm...fresh eggs, it`s a while since I had any of those, Jim used to bring us goose eggs from a farm nearby  when we lived in Northampton and they were delicious. :o)

Love Sandra xxxx

Yes, I've had my little bit of trouble too.  Viewing my album.  Never mind, can't have life being too perfect can we?
I think you've got everybody thinking omelettes, Jan!  Bunny x

I keep getting the journal unavailable or may be deleted page too! So annoying when you're short of time to read and comment! I'm glad you had an interesting speaker and won the eggs. Look forward to hearing more about him. Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/

Jan, I've simply had it with AOL.  I have my buttons but don't get entry alerts and most times I have had no luck with leaving comments.  I hear you on this one.  Love xx Chris

All I can think of is that the trouble all started right about the time that it was leaked that Carphone Warehouse bought AOHell that everything started to fall apart.  I am so disgusted that we pay all this money for crap services with AOHell.  Putting an entry into my blog has become such a trial.  I know EXACTLY what you mean!
