Sunny Sunday ?

I was going put a picture of lightening on here today ,but decided against it ,it seems churlish to keep complaining about this incessant rain(though at the moment the sun is shining )when so many places in Britain today are suffering from the results of  flooding ,it is a shame we are having no summer ,but there are people who are really experiancing their homes being ruined by the floods, which are affecting many parts of the country ,many of them wont be returning to their homes before Christmas ,and listening to the weather forecast this morning ,things dont look to be improving ,there are eight flood warnings today ,and many places are without drinking water .

Pam ,from ''Times of my life ,One Nurses story ''asked me recently for more Kizzy pics ,so as you see ,I added a few at the top of the entry ,,The first three are of Kizzie wishing we didnt have the door closed ,she likes to go in and out ,but ,yes it was raining hard ,The last two I took on Thursday ,the first part a lovely sunny day ,I was indoors ironing ,and Kizzie kept pinching my knickers ,What fun ! me chasing her to get them back ......You can see how the grass keeps growing ,and that there are no cushions on the swing ,due to the weather, they have spent most of the summer in the shed , Maurice has just gone off to work ,three nights ,so Kizzie and I are home alone ,I  am going to make some dinner soon and curl up with her and the tele ,so what is left of the weekend ,every one enjoy .With love from ......

cozy home you have, and a cute pup to keep you company.
We are in a drought, and could use some of your rain.
Strange weather we are having.

it's raining here in western Washington too.  I followed Guido's link to the BBC news and saw all the horrible flooding pictures.  That's really sad.  They are predicting some flooding here too, if the rain doesn't slow down.  We still have a snow pack in the mountains that's melting, so that adds water to the rivers and streams too.   We had a few weeks of really hot, dry weather, so I'm not complaining (yet) about the rain.  Time for indoor tasks, like cleaning closets, I guess. My goodness isn't Kizzy growing  but by the knicker pinching still a puppy and full of fun.!!  We are lucky that we are not flooded here in Wiltshire not much anyway but only 20 miles or so away they are awash poor souls they need all our prayers. Love Sybil xx

It's another sunshinny day here.  I almost feel guilty for saying that after all the rain you are experiencing.  We've had summers much like yours in the past and probably will again too.  The weather is something we can't depend on for sure.
Your little Kizzee is a ray of sunshine all by her self.  So cute !  I hope you have a good evening.  'On Ya' - ma

Watching the news was awful.  It is so hard to imagine that some places are 30 feet underwater!!!! They say some will not be able to return to their homes for a year or more and also think of all the wildlife that has drowned.  Yet G. Brown wants thousands more homes built, we simply cannot take it.  Kizzy is so pretty, what great shots and lol at the knickers.

Sure liked Kissy's pictures. We have a "doggie Door" so that the "Boys" can go in and out as they wish. It seems to work OK and they stick their noses out if it is too hot or if it ever rains and then stay in. I wish I could complain about the rain. Unfortunately for me all we have is hot, sunny days. We need rain bad but, that is the price of living in the desert. My Regards, Bill.

I don't blame Kizzie - I wouldn't want to get my feet wet either! I am in hopes the sunshine finds you soon as stays with you for a while! Hope the days ahead are filled with Happiness!

Do so love the pictures of Kizzy!  I know that this rain is becomming more than unbearable. My heart does go out to those affected by the floods.  It must be heartbeaking for them.  I am ever thankful though that we have not been affected.  I wonder what can be done to ease their burdens?  Is there a fund anywhere we can donate to?

I can't `view larger' at the moment, so am very tantalised by the Kizzie pics.  She looks very pretty, but then she always was.

What a gorgeous dog!  Poor mite is all but stood with her legs crossed there.  Our Sal does that - no chance of getting her outside when it's raining but she never wees in the house.  They must be busting sometimes!

What a dog pinching your knickers!!lol!! We have had brilliant sunshine at our end of Scotland so warm too.

What a cute dog, she looks like a real character.  How sensible to have a small dog with little feet.  Our dog Meg who is a rehomed sheepdog (she was afraid of sheep!) doesn't seem bothered by the rain.  She is in and out like a fiddlers elbow rain or no rain, and the footprints she leaves make it look as if we have had a cart horse trotting round the kitchen!

Glad to hear the Uk is enjoying at least one day of sun. Kizzy has gotten so big. What a beautiful loving little lady she turned out to be. (Hugs) Indigo

Its hard to keep mentioning the rain here because it is so unusual to get this much in July. Maybe one day but here and now it is every day and some days all day long. I too feel so bad for the people there and here who are flooded. Paula

Hi Jan, it must be awful to live in those flooded areas, I feel so sorry for those whose homes are ruined. Kizzie looks like a little rascal! I used to have a dog who like to chew knickers up! I hope the weather dries up for the rest of the summer for all of us, I think we're all sick of rain by now! Jeannette xx

Now, I know I read this entry the other day but I'm not sure if I commented.  I'm getting back with reading and catching up but forgetting the comments.  Kizzie is so cute and getting so big.

I've been hearing so much about the terrible flooding in the UK this summer...just awful.  I pray for some sun and relief.  Love xx Chris
