Busy ,busy ,busy !

Thankyou Donna for this graphic ......

As promised I have posted the pictures I took when I went to the Womens Institute (fondly called the W I ) meeting last Monday evening.......It was so much fun ,as you will gather from the pictures ,my sides ached with laughing ,what good sports are those ladies .and would you believe all amateurs ?...! !

The last two pictures I have added are of some thing I bought from the craft stall ,little Angels for the tree ,I bought three ,one for my sister Jean ,one for Jackie Mikes wife (Mike is Maurices brother )and of course one for moi ! I understand that sort of needlework is called hardanger! dont know any more ,except that it is Norweigion ,I will be asking the lady when I go again ,but it was such a busy evening ,though she did tell me that she sends the proceeds from her sewing to the childrens hospice  ,WI ladies are so nice .

I suppose like me you are all busy ,doing all those tasks we tell our selves, have to be done each year ,(we love it really )I have still got to wrap all my presents. I like to buy them all first ,then have a big wrap up session ,well I think now I have bought all I need to... so I have no excuse !......actually if I stop now ,I could go and do just that ! So on that happy note have a Blessed Sunday everyone ,With Love From ...

I laughed at the lady with her skirt up, did she have her knickers on?! Lol! It looks like you had a good time at the WI! The little angels are pretty, I've heard of Hardanger but have never seen it before. Have a good day today! Jeannette xx  http://beta.journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/

I'm amazed...I actually got the alert for this...lol  Love the angels.  I actually collect angels and at one time had one of my trees with angels only.  Now, I misread and thought you had gotten your tree up.  Hopefully, you'll have some time today to do it.  Love xx  Chris

Jan these pictures really brought a smile to my face!  The ballerina was so funny with her "dress."  I do hope someone stopped the action and TOLD her??  LOL!
I loved your tree angels.  Norway is the only place in Europe I've been to.  I loved it.  I could have moved there.
I'm like you...I like to buy the presents and have a wrap fest.  Xmas music....lights....hot chocolate (or whatever) and wrap for hours.
Hope you have a good Sunday.  Enjoyed your pics a LOT!

Jan, I adored Swan Lake.  Is that one lady's tutu caught up in her knickers in the back?  LOL  It was hilarious.  I bet you laughed till your sides hurt.  This is the true joy of Christmas, isn't it?  Thank you so much for sharing this with me!

Love,
Susie

It does look like the Christmas party was a lot of fun.  Laughter is good for the soul, they say.  I love the little angels.  They look so delicate.  Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday.  Linda in Washington

What wonderful pictures Jan!  That one Swan was a little less than graceful, with her tutu stock in her panties! lol  Too funny!  Was that on purpose, or did she not know?
Everyone appeared to have a jolly time, and I'm glad you were able to share the pictures with us.  I smiled as I shuffled throught them!

Merry Christmas, Jan!

Loved the photos.  The swan lake ones had me in stitches as well.  Like you, I never wrap my presents until I have got them all and do it in one hit.  If I wrapped them as I bought them I would never remember what I had got for whom lol
